DNA Results are in!
According to the DNA results …”You are NOT the father!” Sorry, I had to do that.
We are extremely excited with our results! I won’t keep you waiting any longer!
Gracie:
As we thought, she is a mixed breed but, St. Bernard and Boxer? Those were a bit of a surprise. But, 59.5% German Shepherd!
Gunner:
We weren’t completely surprised on his results but, a bit shocked! I am shook that someone would throw out a pure bred dog! Your loss, my gain buddy.
In case you’re wondering, because we were, they are not related to one another. However, we did find two closely related dogs a few miles up the road. I also contacted the owners of Gunner’s brother last night. So, hopefully we can meet up with them soon. Let the boys reunite for a little while and play.
We are so happy we have these two with us! They are keeping us busy but, are such a delight to have around!

Not surprised at all about Gunner (who would do that to any dog much less pure bred GSD!!) and I can see boxer markings on Gracie … think she will be a big girl! Memphis has 50% lab (all lab on his dad’s side)… momma’s side messed around with pittie, boxer and Weimaraner!!! Somehow you mix all that up and you end up with a catahoula lab! Lol… love your babies!! Beautiful and amazing his relatives are near you!
That is so cool. We had a Saint Bernard who live around the corner from us growing up. He was huge! Looking forward to following their adventures 😊
