Hercules Update!

First off -great news!! Herc is up and doing well! Details are as follows:

As of yesterday, Herc is up and moving around. He is groggy from the meds but moving well and the doctor expects no issue with coming home tomorrow

In addition to his leg they also took the lymph node from the shoulder as a precaution. Even though nothing showed on x-ray this will help to show if anything spread.

Biopsy on the lymph node and leg will be back in a week. Herc will have a compression bandage on for two weeks at which point he should be healed well enough to go with no bandage. First chemo will start in 2 weeks, ideally in the same session as bandage removal.

They will call tomorrow morning and let us know how he did through the night and from the there we should be able to set pickup time.
