<\/p>\nWe did the same routine as we did in January.\u00a0 Al came up the night before to prepare water and plug in all the pipes, etc.\u00a0 I showed up the next morning.\u00a0 It had been raining with what seemed like forever.<\/p>\n
Maxx enjoyed the slippery driveway arriving at the farm.\u00a0 Fun but, a little scary for me.<\/p>\n

This time I did not bring a whole of “things” to do and I regretted that.\u00a0 It rained so much!!!! I literally started feeling a bit of cabin (RV) fever!<\/p>\n

I did baked cookies one evening.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42 I mean, what’s a girl to do when she is completely bored?\u00a0 Eat, of course!<\/p>\n
Here’s a shocker……Bun is in da house!\u00a0 It was rainy and cold.\u00a0 No wonder she chose to finally enter the RV and she stayed in all night!<\/p>\n Side note: As Al was departing, his truck slid off the driveway into a ditch.\u00a0 Nothing Pokey couldn’t handle though.<\/p>\n The rain finally held off for a bit so I was able to get out and walk the property. Hallelujah!!!\u00a0 I really wanted to see what the driveway looked like before I ventured home the next day.\u00a0 It was not a pretty sight.\u00a0Our driveway really<\/em> needs some TLC.\u00a0 I hate that the rain pretty much destroyed all of Al’s hard work on the driveway earlier this month.<\/p>\n This!\u00a0 It was about two feet deep!<\/p>\n This “little” creek is hardly ever visible.\u00a0 It had rushing water coming down from the pond.<\/p>\n The rushing water created a nice little dam by the front gate.<\/p>\n I took plenty of mental notes of where and what to avoid once I descend down the driveway headed home.\u00a0 Sadly, I found one of the cats laying beside the creek bed dead.\u00a0 It looked unscathed.\u00a0 So I believe it may have drowned from the rushing creek.\u00a0 I also found a rather huge opossum dead behind the barn.\u00a0 Not sure what got it. It was missing a foot. #farmlife<\/p>\n But, even with all the rain and the naked foliage, my eyes still saw the beauty of nature here.<\/p>\n And then this…… the people who owned this land before us must have carved something here?\u00a0 Not sure why else you would destroy a tree like that.\u00a0 It was not like that when we first visited the property. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n The changing of the sign on the shed. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/13dogfarm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/010559e343a0b042ad19a9b7214cee7bc5cb6146cf-1.jpg\")
