What’s your favorite season?\u00a0 Fall is my most favorite.\u00a0 I love the changing colors of the leaves,\u00a0 \u00a0\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0the crisp morning air and the excitement of Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon.\u00a0 It arrived mid-September at the farm this past year.\u00a0 I’m referring the decorations .\u00a0 Although the weather was chilly as well.\u00a0 I think a lot of folks decorated a little earlier this past year due to the pandemic.\u00a0 I think everyone needed some change, something to look forward to, a little pick me up.\u00a0 I normally don’t begin to decorate until mid October but, I couldn’t wait to see how it would all look!\u00a0 My favorite season and, next to Christmas, my favorite time to decorate.\u00a0 I was in a new place with all sorts of new decorations.\u00a0 I had some decorations I had purchased in 2019 and had yet to use them!\u00a0 So, it was a bit like Christmas unpacking them! The year before everything was packed up in boxes ready for the big move.\u00a0 We didn’t decorate at all.\u00a0 Not even for Christmas.\u00a0 So, to say I was a little anxious to start decorating would be an understatement.<\/p>\n

I started with the loft area.\u00a0 I didn’t do much.\u00a0 We hardly ever go up there but, with a few potential guests possibly visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to add a splash of Fall colors\u00a0 and make it cozy.\u00a0 \"\"<\/p>\n

The ledge that goes across our front windows can be enjoyed from the loft area as well.\u00a0\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\u00a0\"\" This ledge is so fun to decorate.\u00a0 It has so much potential.\u00a0 In all honesty having a new place to decorate can be a bit daunting for me.\u00a0 I normally place items in spots and then, as crazy as it sounds, I let them speak to me for a few days.\u00a0 I will know by then if it belongs there or somewhere else.\u00a0 When we first moved in I drove Al crazy because I kept switching things around and he could never find anything! I think the fireplace turned out just as I had imagined it would.\u00a0 Maybe even better.<\/p>\n
