It was a short weekend for us.\u00a0 Unfortunately it rained a good part of our time there so, not much work was accomplished.\u00a0 The leaves have just begun to change and there was a little chill in the air.\u00a0 I love this time of year.\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Saturday brought very high winds.\u00a0 We seem to get them often up on the plateau.\u00a0 I mean, they are strong! The flag mounted on the cabin even blew off.\u00a0 We walked over to retrieve it and do more measuring. Also, we discussed where to put furniture, if there is room here or there and such.\u00a0 Just planning in my head kind of stuff.\u00a0 Like I said, it is always changing. It was decided that the upper loft area would not work well for my office.\u00a0 It’s just too small now that the HVAC work has been done.\u00a0 So, I’ll be back downstairs in the basement next to Al’s office.\u00a0 I think it’s probably best this way in the long run.\u00a0 I don’t know how well I would do climbing a ladder at 80.\u00a0 Let’s be real.<\/p>\n

Between rain showers we got out and walked the driveway and talked about landscaping ideas.\u00a0 We stopped at the barn to feed the cats.\u00a0 We have four now.\u00a0 A calico which appears to be a little bit bigger than the others.\u00a0 The other three are two black and white and one gray tabby.\u00a0 They are definitely juveniles, and if I had to guess, all from the same litter.\u00a0 For now, it appears they are all female as far as I can tell.\u00a0 They are also much more friendlier than the calico.\u00a0 She is very skittish.\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Not sure what Honey saw up this tree but, she was definitely focused.\u00a0 We could not see anything but, I suspect something was there.<\/p>\n

Also, are these persimmons?\u00a0 Al tried one and said they were extremely tart.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0What does one do with persimmons?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u00a0The cabin sprouted wings since our last trip.\u00a0 Hopefully the roof will come soon! By the way, we’ve been trying to come up with a name for the cabin.\u00a0 Any ideas are welcome!<\/p>\n

Al will return this upcoming weekend to hopefully get some grading in and, of course, give the dogs some company.\u00a0 It is suppose to dip down to 29 degree, too.\u00a0 So, I am glad he’ll be there to let them inside\u00a0 at night to sleep in the warmth of the RV.\u00a0 Honey seems quite comfortable letting herself in these days.\u00a0 We are still working on Bun’s confidence in that area.<\/p>\n
