Herc and Teenie Quick update

Hello everyone!

First, I need to update you on Teenie.  I felt horrible that I totally left her out of my last post!  What kind of dog mom am I?  She has responded well to the Pepcid AC for the most part. She still has an occassional throw up and it’s generally smaller.  So, we are taking that as a win.  Her energy level, as always, is through the roof. Don’t let this photo deceive you!

Herc had his last chemo treatment on Thursday!    He is cancer free!  {Ringing a bell in my head}  He is usually weak for a few days afterward but, last night his appetite returned and he was back to his old playing self. . He is a whopping 79.2 lbs.  He was 85 lbs. on the day of his surgery so, doc said he is doing very well.  All his scans have come back normal!  He will go back for another scan in three months as precautionary.  We are so happy for this chapter to be over!

I bought them new toys at the Tractor Supply a few days back but, waited until he was in full playing mode before breaking them out.

As you can see, nothing lasts long with Herc.

I will blog tomorrow on our porch swing, harvesting and canning and much more!  I just wanted to give you a quick update on our babies!
