And , NOT just like that, we are caught up!

Hello guys!  I hope you enjoyed my three part Christmas posts!  Like I said, we had such a busy December!  I’m looking forward to slowing the pace down for a few weeks at least.  We have so much coming up with the weather getting warmer.  Our garden, landscaping galore and all sorts of other projects! I’ll fill you in on those in my next post.

Today, I want to share with you our little birthday party we had for Hercules and Athena on January 5th.  We celebrate their birthday big time every year.  This year they turned 11!     Their cake was a Peanut Butter and Banana cake topped with a couple of Slim Jim’s.  I’ve attached the recipe for anyone wanting to try it.  Puppy Cake Recipe As you can see above, they loved it!  At the time, we had no clue just how important this birthday celebration would be. Hercules continues to improve with his eating and his mobility.  He is amazing. He had some bloodwork done yesterday and his white blood cell count was normal!  He will have more bloodwork done on Tuesday and will go for his second chemo treatment on Wednesday. As always, prayers are so appreciated!  He is not out of the woods yet!

The only project “completed” as of today, that I have yet to blog about, is our master closet.  I forgot to take a before picture as per normal.  But picture this, large rubbermaid containers and random boxes in a very small room. It was a mess!  Here are the after photos.  I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

Short but, sweet.  We are officially caught up!  Yay!

Next post, I’ll go over our change in garden venues, seedlings, landscaping and a mudroom for the outbuilding.  Honestly, it’s a cat room.
