Christmas – Part 3

Christmas – Part 3

So, I’ve just finished putting up all my Spring/Easter Decorations this weekend and here I am showing you my Christmas Decor.  Ha!  Honestly, my Christmas decor deserves it’s own post.  I did A LOT of decorating!  It IS my favorite holiday, so I don’t hold back!

I had a total of four trees this past year.  Next year I will add one more for the basement area. 🙂

These little four foot trees went in my guestrooms.  The Cow room tree had little cow bells  and cow ornaments on it.  It was mostly done all in black and white.  I was amazed to have found so many little ornaments for this tree.    The Patriotic room had an assortment of different patriotic Santa’s, of course, with a few stars and other random red, white and blue ornaments.  I handmade the garland on both trees with foam balls and ribbon.

I also had a few patriotic items that I added on the armoire as well.

The loft had a tree of its own as well.  I hung all our personalized, memorable ornaments on it.    Of course I had to represent the K9 Officers and their K9 dogs!    The lighting was horrible in the following picture.  I placed our blow mold Santa near the front railing of the loft so that he could be seen from below.  He was standing next to an old wooden sleigh full of gifts.      I can’t forget the wreaths on the barn doors above and all the lit garland!!

I had so much fun decorating the main living area and kitchen!  I kept coming up with new ways to display stuff.  I must have changed things around a dozen times before it all just finally felt right.

I put an assortment of tiny pine trees up on the ledge, then strung some led lights on them.  I honestly think this was my favorite decoration.  It was so hard taking them down!  I just loved the look of them so much.

Our main tree in the great room used to sit in the foyer at our old house.  In the past we normally purchased a live tree for our main tree.  But, here live trees are a little harder to obtain.  I guess we could just go out and chop one down on our property but, none look like Christmas trees!  I thought this tree looked gorgeous and I am sure it will now become our main tree.  I adorned it will all things farmhouse.  Cowbells, milk jugs and some handmade ornaments.

The fireplace is always fun decorating no matter what season or holiday.

I found the best artificial garland for the chandelier.  I ordered two strands and loved it so much I tried to order another one but, they had sold out.  I bought them from a company called Piper Classics.  I love this store.  Check them out.  They have so much stuff!  https://www.piperclassics.com/

The coffee center had a plethora of mugs.  I love changing this up with every holiday.

The kitchen had mini wreaths on all the cabinets.  I actually hung mini wreaths on all the doors throughout the cabin as well.  I made these with 8 in wire wreath rings and random garland wrapped around it.

I went with a total Santa theme in the kitchen.

The front door area had the obligatory farm animals.  We had to wire them to the floor though.  That wind thing, remember?

Lastly, I decorated a little in the bedroom.  That’s a first for me.  It’s on the main floor and right off the kitchen so, I didn’t want to leave it out.

I hope you enjoyed!  Thanks as always for reading!

Next up, a puppy BD party and our master closet.
