Mowing and progress!

The end of April brought a quick trip to the farm. The grass is now growing at the rate of about 6 inches per week in some places!!

In addition to the normal mowing of the plateau, Purple field was mowed

While mowing along the back tree line of the plateau I found some turkey eggs!

Later in the trip momma turkey was sighted flying up into a tree (sorry no picture!)

The trip also offered a chance to review progress on the driveway/road, including the drainage culverts (here being inspected by Bun)

This trip also marked the arrival of the excavator which would be digging ditches for the drive and soon digging the basement for our home

No trip would be complete without Bun following me down from the plateau to say goodbye
