A Cold Weekend!

With our every other weekend trips to the farm in hand, the first weekend in March proved to be very cold! The weather was so cold even Bun came inside to spend the night!! We came to the conclusion that Bun will only come inside if the temperature is in the low teens or colder.

With the cold weekend underway thought was given to some non-mowing tasks. This trip marked the collection of fallen trees along the edges of the plateau.

Picking up entire fallen trees makes for quick cleanup and the area was soon looking much better

The journey home was bright and clear but cold. The labs didn’t seem to mind however and spent some quality time contemplating the mountains

As life on the farm has produced many challenges, this trip was no exception. By the end of the cold weekend the RV furnace had stopped working. Honey took this to mean “of course you will be coming back, so you can fix my RV heater”
